Fat Bottomed Boys, c’est un incroyable défi que se sont lancés Elash et The Sgt. depuis 2020 : perpétuer l’héritage de Queen à travers de nouvelles chansons, des compositions originales dont les airs de famille (royale) sont assumés et revendiqués.

Un pari qui n’avait rien d’évident, mais joliment relevé ! Les 3 albums du groupe Let’s Do It! (2020), Too Much Is Not Enough (2021) et The King Of Rhye (2022) sont salués par la critique et ont su conquérir le cœur des fans, séduits par ce concept jusqu’alors inédit.

Au fil de ces 3 albums, Fat Bottomed Boys explore le Rock sous toutes ses formes (Pop Rock, Rock Progressif, Hard Rock, Funk Rock, New Wave…), en se renouvelant à chaque nouvelle chanson.

Plusieurs collaborations internationales se sont offertes à Fat Bottomed Boys, comme la participation à la bande originale du film franco-américain Borrowed Time 3 ainsi que la bande originale du roman australien The King Of Rhye.

Les fans retiendront surtout le duo virtuel avec Freddie Mercury sur la chanson New York, qui fit le tour du monde en 2021, ainsi que l’organisation et la participation à We Lille Rock You, troisième plus grand événement mondial dédié à Queen.

Depuis 2022, Elash et The Sgt. sont également des artistes officiels de Brian May Guitars, marque fondée par le guitariste de Queen.

C’est en concert que l’énergie de Fat Bottomed Boys se révèle au grand jour. Un son puissant, des tenues flamboyantes et un jeu de scène qui en met plein la vue, de quoi faire passer au public un moment intense et hors du temps.

In 2020, Elash and The Sgt. created 'Fat Bottomed Boys’. In doing so, they took on a massive task: to perpetuate Queen's legacy through new songs; original compositions in the "royal" family tradition.

They rose to the challenge, and continue to meet it with panache: their three albums, 'Let's Do It!' (2020), 'Too Much is Not Enough' (2021) and 'The King of Rhye' (2022) are critically acclaimed. Moreover, they have captured the hearts of fans, seduced by an idea never heard or published before.

Throughout these three albums, 'Fat Bottomed Boys' explore rock in all its guises - pop, prog, hard rock, funk, new wave and more - reinventing themselves with each new song.

'Fat Bottomed Boys' have had the pleasure of several international collaborations. These include a contribution to the soundtrack for 'Borrowed Time 3', a Franco-American film, and producing a full soundtrack for the Australian novel, 'The King of Rhye’.

Fans will especially treasure the virtual duet with Freddie Mercury on the track 'New York’, which was released worldwide in 2021, as well as the organisation of and participation in We Lille Rock You, the third biggest event in the world dedicated to Queen.

Since 2022, Elash and The Sgt. are also official ambassadors of Brian May Guitars, founded by the Queen guitarist.
